I’ll Show You How To Build a Hypnotherapy Mixer

By | Recording | No Comments

I’ll Show You How To Build a Hypnotherapy Mixer I’m so glad to be able to offer you this webinar on how to build your own hypnotherapy mixer. This is a device that is going to really assist you in delivering sessions to your clients at a whole new level. What’s a hypnotherapy mixer? Good question! Essentially, a hypnotherapy mixer is a small audio mixing device that allows you to deliver your session to your client via a headset and allows them to communicate back via theirs. As it goes through an audio mixer, it also means that you can ‘mix in’ background music, soundscapes or binaural beats as well, offering a very different experience. This could be particularly useful in environments that can be rather noisy and help to block out any other background noises. I know that personally, in my own space, noises from neighboring rooms and businesses, the outside lifts ringing and people loudly walking past can be a real issue to contend with at times. While you could offer the suggestion during hypnosis of ignoring the other noises (in fact, they will only help you to go deeper), it can still be a real conscious distraction…

New ‘Recording for Hypnotherapists Workshop’ Date For October 2017

By | Recording | No Comments

New ‘Recording for Hypnotherapists Workshop’ Date For October 2017 Aimed at Hypnotherapists, Mindfulness and Meditation Coaches and Mental Health professionals, this workshop will teach you how to get the best possible recording results using the equipment that you already have. I began running these workshops as I noticed just how technophobic hypnotherapists (and therapists in general) seemed to be. I kept wondering why that was, and when I did the research, I discovered that there was a lack of resources in this area. Given how much I enjoyed playing with audio and the experience I had with it, it made sense that I should put this workshop together. “You made something that seemed quite daunting now appear doable. Cheers!!!” Phillip What do we cover in the Recording for Hypnotherapists Workshop? This workshop will include everything from; * setting up the software on your computer (including software itself) * what other tools you might want to consider * how to do your initial recording * how to go about editing it and adding effects * removing background noise. * adding your royalty free music and mixing * exporting out to an MP3 or WAV file * creating binaural beats * creative…

Tips To Help You Create Your Own Hypnosis Audio Product

By | Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Recording | No Comments

Tips To Help You Create Your Own Hypnosis Audio Product One of the easiest ways a hypnotherapist can create a passive revenue stream is to sell content online. Whether it be an individual, self-contained sessions or a program that consists of modules and a recording for each, you can set up a website and automate the process so that you’re (literally) making money in your sleep. While it might seem daunting for many hypnotherapists to do that, armed with a few skills and some creativity, you could be online with your recordings, helping people make meaningful changes in their lives and making money on a global market quickly and easily. There are other benefits from having your sessions available online too. Many people will happily consider ‘giving you a try’ for $10+ and exploring what you can do via a recording before they consider paying out $150+ for a one-on-one session or $500+ for a program. Here are some tips that can help you to create your online products quickly and easily. Using yourself as inspiration There are many hypnotherapists out there who believe that they should be recording everything. Whether it be to listen back to your session to…

Why Every Hypnotherapist Should Learn How To Record

By | Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Podcast, Recording | No Comments

Why Every Hypnotherapist Should Learn How To Record Consider this, what is one of the most valuable tools a hypnotherapist has? Of course, it’s their voice. Sure, we learn a whole string of techniques and therapeutic approaches in order to offer therapy to our clients however, without the voice to deliver them, we may struggle to get any real form of outcome. It’s our voice that is really our definable tool and one that allows us to do what we want to do successfully. I’m an advocate for every hypnotherapist learning how to record their voice. It is our tool of the trade. It can often be one of the reasons someone may choose to come and see you because they feel that you have the right voice for them. They’ve heard it and they can feel that relaxation immediately. It gives them the confidence that you’re the right therapist for them. For those who are unsure, here are some of the top reasons why you should learn how to record your sessions. Attract new clients Have you been to one of those websites where they offer you a free download in return for your name and email address? This…

Moby Gives Away Four Hours of Music FREE For Meditation and Yoga

By | Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, Recording | No Comments

Moby Gives Away Four Hours of Music FREE For Meditation and Yoga What’s not to like about Moby? As one of the most featured artists in movie soundtracks of all time, it is hardly surprising that he can produce subtle and cinematic music that would be perfect for meditation, yoga, mindfulness or even, yes, hypnosis. Over on his website, he has released four hours of ambient music that he has created for just such a purpose and kindly decided to give it away for free. He writes, ”Over the last couple of years I’ve been making really really really quiet music to listen to when I do yoga or sleep or meditate or panic. I ended up with 4 hours of music and have decided to give it away. you can download it for free below or stream it on Spotify, Soundcloud, apple music, deeper, youtube & tidal. It’s really quiet: no drums, no vocals, just very slow calm pretty chords and sounds and things for sleeping and yoga and etc. and feel free to share it or give it away or whatever, it’s not protected or anything, or at least it shouldn’t be. Thanks, Moby” Actually, no – thank…

Top Tips For Recording Your Hypnotherapy Scripts

By | Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Recording | No Comments

Top Tips For Recording Your Hypnotherapy Scripts Technology has made it increasingly easier over the years for many hypnotherapists to produce high-quality audio hypnotherapy recordings at home yet one of the things I have repeatedly noticed over the years I’ve worked in this industry is that many hypnotherapists (and, for that matter, therapists in general) seem to be rather ‘technophobic’. And, quite simply, there is no reason to be. I often think of my mother who once told me she was afraid to go on her computer in case she ‘did something wrong and broke the internet’. I let her know that the internet was more likely to break her unfortunately than anything she could do. Over time and with experience, that fear has managed to subside nicely and while the internet isn’t something that is necessarily her cup of tea, she knows that her ability to damage it is pretty limited. So why would a hypnotherapist want to embrace technology and learn how to record audio of their scripts? From a business perspective, these recordings are incredibly useful in either being offered out in return for prospective client’s details so that they can be marketed to. When you consider…
