Why My Stop Smoking Program Is The Best One For You
So you’ve decided you would like to quit smoking…
Congratulations on your decision to quit smoking! I get it, you’ve reached that point where you just think it’s time.
I’m laying bets that you probably don’t even really enjoy every cigarette that you smoke anymore either. It seems to be that you’re finding you’re struggling to enjoy them much anymore and you’ve probably reached that point where you just don’t understand why it is that you’re keeping up this habit.
You’ve probably had a few friends who have tried hypnosis before and had success with it, and so you think you might give it a go.
Then when you research into it and you’re not sure what you need. Between the programs that make promises of making you a non-smoker in one session through to more extensive and comprehensive programs, it can be very confusing – especially for something that you’re not even sure if it will work for you.
Then read on because today, I’m writing something that is going to help you. Firstly, I’m going to look at the research and findings behind the success rates of hypnosis and smoking cessation as well as going into a little more detail about why my program is actually the best one for you.
The research behind hypnosis and helping people to become non-smokers
No doubt, you’re curious as to how successful hypnosis is in helping people to become a non-smoker and what research has been done to prove it.
The starting point might be to have a look at New Scientist Magazine Iss 1845 from October 31st 1991. In that article, they conclude that “Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Willpower, it turns out, counts for very little.”
To find the most effective way to give up smoking, this research was done at the University of Iowa that carried out a meta-analysis, statistically combining the results of more than 600 studies covering almost 72 000 people from America, Scandinavia and elsewhere in Europe. While there is no approach that is going to have a 100% success rate (thanks lately to the inherently obvious fact that every person is different), this research highlights that hypnotherapy has a proven track record in assisting people to become non-smokers more than most other methods out there.
In another study Hall and Crasilneck used a 4 session protocol for smoking cessation. Prior to treatment the subjects had smoked on average for 27 years and an average of 40 cigarettes per day. Over 90% of the subjects had made unsuccessful attempts to stop. A follow up survey sent out between one and four years later showed that 82% of the subjects had remained smoke free.
One Hour One Session vs Comprehensive Programs
Undeniably, there are people who will successfully become non-smokers using a One Hour One Session option. Many of these services rely upon using scripts being read to their clients, which isn’t always going to provide a successful result as they’re hoping to make their client fit their script instead of exploring the unique trigger points and resources that a client will bring with them and utilising them in the session.
With this in mind, inevitably, the success rate for One Hour One Session options is going to be lower than a more comprehensive program and their relapse rate is likely to be higher as well.
When you consider which program is right for you, consider if they’re going to take the time to explore fully what your trigger points are, what excuses you use and what reasons you truly have for wanting to become a non-smoker.
Why my program is the best one to assist you in becoming a non-smoker
Can I share with you a secret? When I first started doing hypnotherapy, I was terrified of getting clients who wanted to stop smoking.
This was largely for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, many people seem to think that hypnosis is some ‘magic bullet’ and that they’ll be ‘put under’ and the desire to smoke simply made to disappear. This is just not how it works. When you’re new to hypnotherapy, if you’re not used to building momentum with people to have their desire to becoming a non-smoker being inevitable, it can make doing smoking cessation a daunting experience.
To deal with this, I delved deep into ALL of the stop smoking protocols that exist out there. Countless trainings, books, audios and videos, exploring what others have done to have success after success with their clients.
As a result, the program that I’ve developed is one of the most comprehensive you’re going to be able to find. It has been compiled out of an absolute desire to get it right so that I can help as many people as possible.
What does my program consist of?
For your investment, which is less than what you would pay in a month on cigarettes currently, you receive:
- A workbook which features five videos (one for each day prior to your first session) and a smoking diary to help you identify triggers and patterns that may be maintaining your smoking habit.
- Two hypnosis MP3 audios to help prime the mind, assist you in practicing hypnosis and give you the best chance to benefit from the one-on-one sessions.
- Up to three one-on-one sessions to assist you in becoming a non-smoker.
The three one-on-one sessions alone would be worth $480, not to mention the cost of the hypnosis audios and the workbook. You can gain this entire Stop Smoking Package for an investment of just $495.
So, what are you waiting for? You’ve read about the research and their findings, you’ve heard about why my program has been built to deliver, now all you’ve got left to lose is that old smoking habit that no longer serves you.
